My setup of monitor stand

My setup changed quite a bit over time. I used to keep the monitor just flat on the desk with its default stand, but eventually I realized it made my neck stiff by the end of the day. Now I have it slightly elevated, about eye level, using an adjustable monitor stand https://www.progressivedesk.com/collections/monitor-stands . What I like about these is the range of options—you can find stands with different height settings, some with built-in storage, others with clean minimalist designs. What helped me was figuring out how far back I naturally lean in my chair and adjusting the monitor so I’m not pushing my head forward without realizing it. I also have the monitor slightly off-center to the right, because I use a laptop next to it and needed to make some room for note-taking. The flexibility from an adjustable stand really made that easier without sacrificing comfort or visibility. Still experimenting with the perfect angle, but it’s miles better than my old flat setup

I've been curious lately—where do you all actually place your monitor stand? I don't mean just "on the desk," but more specifically—do you keep it centered, pushed back, angled, on a riser, or maybe even mounted? I realized my setup might not be ideal for posture, and I’m wondering how others manage their space. For example, my current monitor is placed right at the back of the desk, slightly angled, and I'm starting to notice I have to lean forward a bit too often. I don’t have much room for depth, and the stand that came with my screen doesn’t offer much flexibility. I’ve seen some people use adjustable risers or even clamp arms to get things eye-level and more ergonomic. Just trying to get ideas on practical positioning and what’s worked for others long-term.
